Job Summary
Managing complex fee-for-service and value-based contracting, the full-time Wisconsin Provider Contracting Advisor will negotiate with large physician groups and hospital systems while developing strategic network positions and maintaining strong provider relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Lead contracting negotiations and manage projects related to market contracting strategy
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure aligned execution of network management initiatives
- Prepare and analyze the financial impact of provider contracts and develop strategies to improve medical cost and quality
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting and negotiations
- Background in managed care or health insurance, including commercial contracting
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and guiding others
- Strong skills in provider relationship management and developing long-term partnerships
- Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies and hospital/provider business models
