Job Summary

Wisconsin Student Coordinator, a part-time position focused on undergraduate-level policy research, student engagement, and public writing related to college student basic needs in Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct state policy landscape scans and analyze higher education policies affecting college student basic needs
  • Plan and host virtual town halls to collect qualitative data on barriers to accessing basic needs resources
  • Draft op-eds and policy communications based on research findings and student perspectives
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled at a college or university in Wisconsin
  • Domestic student status due to federal labor restrictions
  • Commitment of 5 hours per week
  • Interest in public policy, higher education, and student advocacy
  • Commitment to a nonpartisan, student-centered approach
