Job Summary
Wisconsin Student Coordinator, a part-time position focused on undergraduate-level policy research, student engagement, and public writing related to college student basic needs in Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct state policy landscape scans and analyze higher education policies affecting college student basic needs
- Plan and host virtual town halls to collect qualitative data on barriers to accessing basic needs resources
- Draft op-eds and policy communications based on research findings and student perspectives
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at a college or university in Wisconsin
- Domestic student status due to federal labor restrictions
- Commitment of 5 hours per week
- Interest in public policy, higher education, and student advocacy
- Commitment to a nonpartisan, student-centered approach
