Wood Truss Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Multi-Family Wood Truss Estimator for a remote position in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bid and reference information using MiTek and other design-related software
• Review takeoffs and calculations for accuracy and optimize designs for accurate costing
• Assist in training and development of other estimators as required

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Two or more years of wood truss design or estimating experience with a truss manufacturer using MiTek or Alpine
• Experience in MiTek software required if working remotely
• Minimum high school graduate; preferred two-year or bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• Experience in the construction industry, such as framing
• Strong math skills and ability to read and understand blueprints
