WordPress Developer

Job Summary

To support ongoing development and optimization, the contracted WordPress Developer will work remotely, executing tasks across multiple complex WordPress websites while collaborating closely with the internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scoped development tasks and troubleshoot complex issues across WordPress sites
• Build and extend custom themes, plugins, and blocks, optimizing sites for performance
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready WordPress implementations while collaborating with account managers and other developers

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and the block editor
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (React and/or jQuery), HTML, and Sass
• Experience with WooCommerce and complex plugin ecosystems
• Strong debugging skills and familiarity with Git-based workflows
• Excellent written and spoken English for clear communication in a remote environment
