WordPress Developer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the full-time remote WordPress Developer will architect, build, and maintain a delivery framework for websites while optimizing application performance and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to scope of build discussions with development team, project managers, and designers
• Integrate third-party APIs and customize WordPress to enhance functionality
• Document plugins, new code, and modifications while supporting current client websites

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, and React (Gutenberg)
• Understanding of ES6+, CSS Grid, Flexbox, and accessibility in WordPress themes
• Experience with npm task runners such as WebPack and Google Tag Manager
• Strong knowledge of WordPress APIs, theme hierarchy, and custom Gutenberg block development
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
