WordPress Plugin Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA - WordPress Plugin Tester to work full-time, focusing on testing new plugins and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct beta testing for all plugin and service releases, including user testing and functionality tests
• Perform regression and compatibility tests against various versions of WordPress and PHP, as well as popular third-party plugins
• Report issues, monitor resolutions, and produce documentation such as screenshots or videos to illustrate how to reproduce issues

Required Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with WordPress and experience in testing WordPress plugins and theme frameworks
• Knowledge of MySQL and Git
• Understanding of various testing methodologies including black-box, white-box, regression, and unit testing
• Proficiency in CSS, PHP, and JavaScript to identify and document bugs
• Experience with both automated and manual testing processes
