Job Summary
To support a growing digital marketing agency, the full-time WordPress Support Developer will maintain and improve a portfolio of live client websites, focusing on bug fixes, performance enhancements, and technical SEO improvements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle ongoing website support tasks, including bug fixes, layout adjustments, and performance troubleshooting
- Manage updates for themes, plugins, and CMS components while ensuring daily backups and staging environments are properly configured
- Communicate with internal teams regarding fixes, updates, and timelines while documenting recurring issues and solutions
Required qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience with WordPress and website maintenance/support
- Experience with multiple CMS platforms, including Duda, Squarespace, and Divi
- Strong understanding of website troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with technical SEO concepts and experience managing backups and staging environments
