Job Summary

Leading a dedicated team, the full-time WordPress Updates Team Leader will manage WordPress updates for high-traffic client sites, ensuring safe and efficient processes while providing guidance and training to team members in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the Updates Team, distributing assignments and ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Determine safe update schedules for plugins and WordPress core, minimizing disruptions to client sites
• Conduct post-update quality assurance testing and troubleshoot any arising issues

Required qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of WordPress and the update process
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on web hosting and SFTP
• Experience in team leadership or management
• Proficiency in PHP, CSS, and/or JavaScript
• Active involvement in the WordPress community or contributions to plugins/themes
