Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Case Management Manager to lead and manage the activities and services of the case management department. The Case Management Manager effectively manages the case management team and is committed to high quality customer service. The successful candidate will have possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other key internal departments and administrators for the development and maintenance of clinically appropriate, cost effect case management processes.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of eventual direct hire. Some potential for intermittent telecommute.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Identifies department goals, develops action plans and effectively communicates with the team through meetings and other means
Identifies training needs, develops and participates in staff training
Ensures that case management services comply with URAC standards
Directs the effective coordination of health care services to achieve program goals
Establishes continuous quality improvement processes to assure high quality care, customer satisfaction and contribution to financial performance
Qualification
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved program of Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Three years supervisory/management experience in a health care environment
Evidence of have attained certification in Case Management (CMC) (CCMC) or (CMAC)
Understanding of the basic business model
Knowledge of management of health information and information technology
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
