A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Contract Editor in San Diego, California.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring correct grammar, spelling, usage, and adherence to AMA style for a variety of marketing and advertising collateral
- Ensuring accuracy of scientific data and claims by thoroughly fact-checking references
- Enforcing consistency in style, tone, and focus
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BA or advanced degree;a medical or pharma background and/or previous medical editing experience
- Ability to manage numerous, complex jobs in various stages of life cycle
- High-level interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to turn jobs around efficiently, without compromising quality
- Proficient in standard computer programs as well as the Internet
- Solid knowledge of marketing principles, preferably health care marketing
