Job Summary

Manager, Data Analytics – Nationwide – Telecommute

The company is a rapidly growing business development consulting firm.  Our international team of marketing and sales professionals develops, implements, maintains and monitors strategic programs that accelerate the sales process and help our clients achieve a predictable model for growth.

We are looking for a full-time, salaried Manager, Data Analytics.  The Manager, Data Analytics is responsible for driving account performance and achieving deliverables through the effective administration of account process; tracking and monitoring results; reporting on deliverables/metrics and results.  The Manager, Data Analytics is responsible for all back-end operational performance: database, reporting, email sending, logging, coding, research.

The Manager, Data Analytics reports to the Director, Account Operations.

In addition, the Manager, Data Analytics will be responsible for working under the guidance of the Directors of Account Operations and Client Services to ensure that programs are executed with strategic objectives in mind and to ensure that all program deliverables can be achieved.  Managers, Data Analytics will collaborate with their assigned peers/colleagues (Managers, Client Services) to ensure day to day execution of assigned programs.  The Managers will work together to achieve performance standards through account metrics being met; consultant teams performing optimally; client satisfaction; client retention.

Key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with Account Delivery Team (COO, Directors, Manager counterpart from Account Operations team) for client strategy/set up
Managing all database functions and reporting for assigned accounts
Owning the creation of Program Guidelines sections including database, process, and workflow
Monitoring account performance through analysis of data and metrics; collaborating on next steps
Attending “data centric” client meetings – for example, those involving reports, processes, list building, and databases
Contributing to account workflow schedules
Contribute to the training of all account operations personnel and to those needing database instruction
Manage Database Coordinators
Contribute to reporting innovations and report development
Responsible for list building on assigned accounts – best practice data sources and contributing to strategies for list building
Take lead on external CRM integration on assigned accounts

The ideal candidate for this position:

Advanced Excel proficiency (3rd party Excel testing is a step in the hiring process)
Demonstrated experience with data analytics - working with large data sets to provide meaning, insights, “tell a story”
Can provide evidence of advanced charting/report creation
Solid Communication Skills - verbal, written
Database/CRM proficiency
Preferably experience in a “client service” organization / customer service orientation
Sales Operations/Support, Market Research, Agency/Firm experience desirable


Need to be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment
This person must be the type to take pride in a job well done and recognize that their efforts directly impact the performance of the entire team.

Experience and Skills:

Proficient in MicroSoft Office Applications – Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook; advanced Excel skills are a must
Data-analysis experience – experience assessing both quantitative and qualitative data. Able to convert data points into a compelling report that will guide a client’s strategic growth planning.
Proficient with CRM databases – experience with ACT contact manager, including database development and customization, a definite plus
8+ years experience in marketing/sales support or in a client driven or agency environment
High-level sales support experience
Strategic thinker and able to see the overall picture
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Applicant should be organized and analytical and able to juggle multiple accounts, goals and objectives
Able to think out of the box, and creatively get the job done finding solutions in an entrepreneurial environment
Applicant should have some exposure to a virtual, telecommuting environment and thrive in a goal-oriented environment
4 year BS/BA degree

This is a telecommuting position within a performance based environment.  Candidate can live anywhere.

Full-time, salaried position. Annual Compensation Package of $50K to $60K includes base salary, monthly performance pay potential, and monthly office allowance.  Some travel required.
