Job Summary

A cyber security company has a current position open for a Work at Home Quality Assurance and Malware Threat Researcher.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing dynamic analysis of malware using debuggers and system tools to determine entrenchment, file system activity, and network activity
  • Performing static analysis of malware to determine functionality of our product
  • Identifying process/thread/kernel manipulation in malicious code and interact with running programs to perform analysis

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relative real-world experience is required
  • Must have 3 to 5 years experience analyzing malware using dynamic and/or static methods
  • Must have experience with programming languages: Assembly language (x86) or C/C++
  • Must have experience in software reverse engineering or software development
  • Must have experience as a Malware Analyst
  • Must have detailed understanding of how network-based attacks work at the operating system and/or protocol level
