You will be working with a small entrepreneurial San Diego-based company making a difference in the lives of business owners in the financial services industry by working virtually with an international team, from your own home office.

You need to be highly skilled at using project management software like Infusionsoft.com and Teamwork.com (or able to learn quickly without freaking out).  You also need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and most importantly, a Nazi about follow through.

About You

This is a demanding position so you need to be highly organized. Color-coding, online folders, and systems should get you revved up. Taking an idea and turning it into a timeline of clear deliverables actually sounds like a fun way to spend a day to you. You are incredibly skilled at both micro and macro thinking — making sure the big picture is always moving forward by way of all the tiny details that need to get done. You also love people — you’re a natural mentor and sounding board, and knowing that you helped someone else succeed also will help you succeed.

It helps if you have an interest in finance, since most of our clients are in the financial services industries.

You do NOT thrive on being micromanaged and love to be given the freedom to

About This Role

You will be the overall project manager for our company.

What does this mean?

That you’ll be grand central station for all of our projects.


You’ll break down our goals into deliverables, hand them off to the right people, then make sure everything is on track and getting done on time. You’re the go-to person for questions, resources, or whatever our team needs to get the job done. You are excellent at translating big ideas into projects, from figuring out the master plan to figuring out exactly which details need to be executed when. Basically, you are the one who keeps us on task every day. You keep our team happy, our projects on time, and our revenues growing.

About Your Daily Tasks

• You will be managing a small team of virtual assistants, script editors, and video editors using cool project management software.
• You will also function as our front lines liaison to communicate with our clients via email and phone to manage their video and online marketing strategies. We have a leverageable video system that you’ll be running point on to coordinate scripts and video completion for our clients.
• You’ll be using our clear written processes and templates to set up systems for our clients within our software.
• As our company grows, you may have the option to remain as a project manager working part-time from home, or you may be eligible for a Director of Project Management position that could grow into a full-time position.


Your Required Skills

• Self-starter -- ready to take responsibility to make each project the best it can be. You
need to be an "A Player" who treats this job as if it was your own company. We want you to lead.
•       Ability to communicate well with 2 distinctly different audiences: 1) our clients and 2) our staff. Customer service experience is a must. You will be dealing with end-user clients, internal team members and partners. In short, you should be an organized people person.
•       Outstanding attention to detail
•       You must be able to learn new software quickly, you must be proficient and
ideally an expert at using Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Infusionsoft.com and Teamwork.com (project management software). We'll provide training on our system.
• You should be system-friendly and be someone who thrives on organized systems. . . both using those systems AND setting them up for others.
•       You must have the utmost commitment to meet deadlines and feel tremendous ownership over your job.
• Appealing personality who likes to get a lot done and also likes talking on the phone.
• A pleasant speaking voice
• Enthusiastic, reliable and self-sufficient.
• Even-tempered / no 'attitude' / willing to help beyond a job description and do whatever it takes.
• Must be extremely organized. You will be coordinating with many different people at the same time and so you must thrive on a fast-paced, fun environment and be very detail-oriented and a note-taker.
• You must be able to type at least 50 wpm.
• You must be able to write clearly and quickly.


Your Nice To Have Skills (we can train you too!)

• Experience with Dropbox file management.
• Experience with using CRM Systems like Infusionsoft
• Experience with using project management tools like Teamwork.com
• Experience using Gmail and Google Documents
• Experience with online video (YouTube)
• Experience with using online shopping carts and CRM Systems (Salesforce.com, AWeber, Infusionsoft, 1ShoppingCart, Send Pepper, etc).
• Experience creating screen capture videos using software like Jing or Screenflow (Mac) to help create systems.
• Experience creating very simple webpages or making very simple website edits using an html editor is a plus.
• An ideal person is someone who has been a project manager for an internet-based
marketing business before, dealing with world-wide vendors.
• A love of watching online videos
• A technological proficiency and love for financial topics and business building
• Highly organized and detail-oriented. I'm putting this again as it is so important.
• Outstanding listener, pays attention to details and takes notes when meeting others.

Position Purpose:

To help our company provide outstanding video marketing resources and strategies so we can impact more business owners' lives while increasing revenue and profit.

You must have your own FAST computer (ideally NOT a Mac), reliable high-speed Internet access and a mobile telephone with texting.

Your Commitment:


This is a 5-10/hr week contract position that can scale to more hours as our business grows.

Work location:


Your home or office most of the time.

This job offers flexibility for stay-at-home moms or dads who need a flexible
schedule working from home.

We will perform a complete background check and will call all references you
provide.

Starting pay is $10 to $25/hr and can grow from there. Starting pay will depend on
your experience and expertise in the specific skill sets cited above.
