Job Description:
We are seeking candidates to teach a Practice Management course within a Master's level Allied Health program at one of our partner institutions. Our institution is seeking professionals who can teach online for Summer term. Some course development is required.
Course Description:
Practice management is defined as the knowledge and skills necessary to manage multiple elements of a specific practice of a Health Coach. These elements include organization, administration, communication, marketing, and client care. The curriculum is based on input from internal and external curricular resources, the recommended core curriculum guidelines for Health Coaches.
Qualifications:
Although academic institutions vary in their qualification requirements, the ideal candidate will:
-Possess a doctorate or professional degree in Allied Health or related field
-Have knowledge of and previous experience using Canvas LMS
Additional desirable characteristics include:
-Previous university teaching experience at a graduate level
-Previous course development
-Experience teaching and/or working with diverse populations
