Job Summary

A fast-paced and rapidly growing publishing firm specializing in test prep study guides is looking for part-time science writers. Work will be project based, and writers will be compensated per word. This is a remote contractor position with the possibility for ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• write and edit subject-specific instructional content for study guides

• write and edit problems that match the content, format, and difficulty level of a wide variety of standardized tests

Required Skills

• expertise in chemistry

• familiarity with Common Core standards and/or curriculums for the subjects listed above

• ability to write clearly and effectively about technical subjects

• ability to work quickly and meet deadlines

Required Experience

• minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in field of expertise

• 2 or more years of professional writing experience
