Duarte is looking for Designers in the Raleigh-Durham area who are open to working remotely!

This is a unique role at Duarte because it takes a blend of skills to fill. This role requires the ability to be able to oversee the work of others to ensure high-quality output, be able to do incredible work within a client's brand and work directly with clients when required to do so. The ability to balance creative project ownership with the leadership skills required to guide a team production resources is a rare skill and if you have it, we want you!. You'll be joining an agency that has been dedicated to being the leader of the presentation space for 25 years, helping speakers and executive teams from industries as diverse as tech, consumer goods, entertainment, media, and financial services. We dissect complex stories, digest technical information and make effective and compelling visuals for audiences around the world to see. This position requires someone who thrives on efficiency and who loves all presentations; whether they are everyday presentation or the main stage. Attention to detail is a must, as you'll be called upon as a brand advocate, following brand standards ensuring consistency and quality, while focusing on speed and being resilient when faced with high volume

Strong communicator who can hand projects off to other internal and contracted designers.
Highly skilled in PowerPoint and/or Keynote is a plus!
Your design portfolio reflects strong design and thinking skills
Visual problem solver you dissect complex information to simplify and abstract it for easier audience digestion and are able to visualize key concepts
Able to look at projects holistically and delegate, valuing and utilizing the strengths of the team
Strong communicator: leading client meetings, listening and understanding stakeholder needs to make the project successful
Asks questions until the next steps are absolutely clear in their mind's eye
Process thinker addresses design challenges and can clearly articulate a step-by-step approach for coming up with a solution to team members
You love finding ways to complete projects efficiently and live for efficiency by thinking of more effective ways to solve problems
You are proactive and seek solutions to challenges without waiting or asking for permission first
Independently motivated and able to make well thought out autonomous creative decisions that best serve client needs
Nimble and adept at shifting gears, balancing projects and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment
Maintains a positive outlook, even when faced with design obstacles and constraints. Always keeps client objectives in mind.
Able to grasp many brands, recognizing situations where creative can be pushed and when to strictly uphold standards
Confident as the creative lead on projects and consider teaching/mentoring personal strengths
You never hesitate to jump in to get a project done to make a client happy
Well-versed in Illustrator and Photoshop and uses a streamlined workflow between presentation and Creative Suite apps
You have a strong sense of personal accountability and work with others to do right, with transparency and honest intent
Professional, diplomatic and approachable by teammates
View design as communication rather than fine art, understanding the importance of budgets and timelines
Are innately curious and continuously striving to add to your tool belt
