Must be able to:

  • Review medical records to validate principal and secondary diagnoses
  • Use specialized SMART software that provides feedback and corrections to inpatient coders

Required Skills:

  • Five years inpatient coding and facility auditing
  • CCS
  • SMART recent experience
  • Three plus years DRG auditing
