Workday Core HCM Architect

Job Summary

As a strategic, client-facing role, the Workday Core HCM Architect will provide functional expertise and solution leadership in a full-time capacity, focusing on optimizing and supporting Workday Core HCM within an Application Management Services (AMS) environment, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead for Core HCM, guiding complex configuration and issue resolution within AMS engagements
• Lead client discovery sessions to identify business requirements and optimization opportunities, defining solution approaches
• Architect scalable Core HCM solutions aligned with Workday best practices and provide oversight for enhancements and AMS delivery workstreams

Required qualifications

• Active Workday Partner Certification in Core HCM or related HCM certification
• Experience with multiple end-to-end Workday implementations or post-production AMS engagements
• Background in an AMS, managed services, or support-based environment
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
• Prior experience as a Lead Consultant, Functional Architect, or AMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) preferred
