Workday Core HCM Manager

Job Summary

Serving as the senior-most technical authority, the remote full-time Workday Core HCM Manager will manage the design, integrity, and long-term evolution of Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Security configurations while ensuring operational coherence across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the long-term integrity, scalability, and maintainability of foundational Workday configurations, including worker data structures and security architecture
• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of complex foundational Workday functionality with enterprise-wide impact
• Evaluate implementation decisions through a long-term platform lens, proactively identifying operational risks and governance concerns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience owning and evolving Workday Core HCM architecture in complex enterprise environments
• 4+ years of experience designing and governing Workday Security architecture, including role-based security and compliance considerations
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders during large-scale Workday implementations or transformations
• Advanced understanding of Workday Core HCM architecture and cross-domain dependencies
