Workday Financials Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting a Workday implementation project remotely, the contract Workday Financials Business Systems Analyst will gather requirements, assist with configuration activities, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable financial solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional design for Workday configuration
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Project Management, and Technology stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processes
- Develop and deliver Workday-based reporting and analysis to support operational and financial decision-making
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of finance experience with a strong understanding of core accounting and financial operations
- 5+ years of experience as a Workday Business Systems Analyst supporting Workday implementation and production support
- Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering and translating needs into Workday configuration/customization
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor capitalization, project accounting, and CapEx vs. OpEx classification
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in producing financial reporting and data analysis
