Workday Financials Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workday Financials Architect to provide client-side functional and technical expertise during the post-implementation phase of a large Workday Financials program.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a client-side Workday Financials subject matter expert, partnering with finance, IT, and the implementation team to resolve design challenges and validate configurations
• Evaluate and help resolve complex functional and configuration issues, supporting financial data validation, integrations, and reconciliations
• Document configuration decisions, enhancements, and recommendations for governance and audit readiness

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience in functional or solution architecture roles
• Strong expertise in Procurement, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger; familiarity with Grants, Projects, or Business Assets is a plus
• Experience supporting post-implementation or stabilization phases of Workday programs
• Background in public sector or enterprise-level financial systems preferred
• Workday Financials certification or Workday Pro credentials preferred
