Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workday Financials Functional SME for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions for system configuration and business process definition
• Oversee data migration and mapping of legacy financial data into Workday
• Develop test scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials and at least one full lifecycle implementation
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Workday modules such as Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Experience in developing training materials and change management strategies
• Ability to mentor and support departmental power users
