Workday Functional Consultant

Job Summary

To support ongoing development and optimization of Workday, the contract-to-hire Workday Functional Consultant will collaborate with HR and technical teams to configure the system, build custom reports, and ensure smooth integrations, with opportunities for strategic influence in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HR business users and technical teams to provide practical guidance on Workday configuration and system capabilities
• Design, build, and optimize custom Workday reports, including advanced and composite report types
• Serve as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into system solutions

Required qualifications

• 3 or more years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Recruiting modules
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deliver Workday reports
• Experience supporting Workday integrations and troubleshooting data flow issues
• Proven track record of supporting HR teams with day-to-day questions and project-based initiatives
• Ability to work independently or as part of a distributed team with a proactive, hands-on approach
