Workday HCM Consultant

Job Summary

To support an upcoming Workday Financials implementation, the remote Workday HCM Configuration Consultant will assess and standardize a mature Workday HCM environment, focusing on configuration improvements and governance enhancements in a short-term, project-based role.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and review current Workday HCM configuration and architecture across foundational areas
• Analyze organizational structures and related naming conventions for consistency and standardization
• Recommend and implement configuration updates aligned with future Workday Financials requirements

Required qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience, including supervisory organizations and business processes
• Proven ability to assess and optimize a mature Workday environment with historical configuration changes
• Experience delivering solutions independently after evaluating existing Workday HCM environments
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently and onboard quickly
• Clear communication and documentation skills for translating business requirements into system solutions
