Workday HCM Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Workday HCM Configuration Consultant will assess and standardize a mature Workday HCM environment in preparation for an upcoming Workday Financials implementation, delivering actionable improvements with minimal ramp-up.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and review the current Workday HCM configuration and architecture across key foundational areas
• Analyze organizational structures and related naming conventions for consistency and standardization
• Document changes, recommendations, and best practices while collaborating with IT leadership and business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience, including supervisory organizations and business processes
• Proven ability to clean up, standardize, and optimize a mature Workday environment
• Experience in independently delivering solutions after evaluating an existing Workday HCM environment
• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Clear communication and documentation skills for translating business requirements into system solutions
