Workday HCM Program Manager

Job Summary

Serving as the primary hands-on Workday HCM technical expert, the remote Workday HCM Program Manager will manage the configuration and optimization of Workday solutions, translating business needs into effective system configurations while mentoring future analysts in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Workday HCM modules across various functionalities including payroll, absence, and recruiting to meet business requirements and compliance needs
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend effective Workday configuration decisions aligned to future-state processes
• Support testing activities and document configuration decisions to ensure readiness for launch and ongoing support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, business, or related field preferred; equivalent Workday configuration experience may be substituted
• Hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience across multiple modules including payroll, absence, and performance optimization
• Experience in supporting Workday implementations through design, configuration, testing, and launch activities
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues and document solutions accurately
• Ability to serve as a trainer and mentor for incoming Workday analysts and existing HRIS team members
