Job Summary
Supporting a high-volume payroll environment, the full-time remote Workday Payroll Analyst will manage the Workday Payroll module, focusing on systems analysis, technical support, configuration, reporting, and process improvement while also providing payroll analyst support as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Workday Payroll module, handling configuration, reporting, and issue resolution
- Analyze and diagnose complex payroll issues in real time during processing cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement payroll system solutions and enhancements
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll, HRIS, or specifically with Workday Payroll
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll module and supporting U.S. and Canada payroll environments
- Strong understanding of payroll concepts including earnings, deductions, taxes, and off-cycle payrolls
- Proficient in Excel, with skills in pivot tables, formulas, and large data analysis
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues effectively in a high-volume environment
