Workday Payroll Consultant

Job Summary

Providing hands-on production support, the remote Workday Payroll and Benefits Consultant will manage payroll, absence, time tracking, and benefits issues while helping a higher education organization enhance its Workday processes and reduce manual workarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate recurring tickets and identify underlying configuration or process issues within Workday
• Document solutions and educate business users on effective Workday usage
• Address downstream data issues between Recruiting, Staffing, Benefits, and Payroll

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits
• Experience supporting Workday in a production environment
• Ability to review existing configurations and identify underlying system or process issues
• Experience documenting configurations, processes, and solutions
• Understanding of downstream data dependencies between Recruiting, Staffing, Benefits, and Payroll
