Workday Platform Lead

Job Summary

The remote Workday Platform Lead will serve as the senior technical owner of the Workday HCM System of Record, managing platform stability, execution quality, and delivery outcomes while leading technical teams to translate HR priorities into effective technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day IT owner for Workday, ensuring execution, stability, and operational health
• Oversee Workday reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring compliance with data governance standards
• Coordinate Workday lifecycle activities, including upgrades and operational handoffs across teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Deep hands-on expertise in Workday, including configuration and operational considerations
• Proven experience as a designated platform owner or senior technical lead
• Strong understanding of Workday lifecycle management and change processes
• Demonstrated ability to assess complex technical problems and communicate risks clearly
