Job Summary
Supporting the claims operations team, the full-time Workers' Comp Claims Assistant will provide clerical, administrative, and customer service support remotely, ensuring efficient claim administration and documentation management.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process claim notices, establish new claim files, and maintain accurate documentation
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, organize claim documentation, and prepare correspondence and reports
- Answer inquiries from stakeholders and provide professional customer service while escalating urgent matters as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or insurance-related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong data entry and organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
