Worker's Comp Manager

Job Summary

Managing the Worker's Comp and Liability function, the full-time remote Manager will oversee workflow performance, lead team members, and ensure compliance with documentation standards while driving continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall Worker's Comp and Liability operations, including performance metrics and staffing needs
• Provide leadership and coaching to supervisors and team members responsible for reviewing medical and claims documentation
• Identify process gaps and implement action plans to improve accuracy and efficiency in documentation review

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant healthcare coursework preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in reviewing and interpreting medical records and claims documentation
• At least three years of supervisory experience in the Worker's Comp and Liability space
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and documentation related to patient care
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and claims or documentation management systems
