Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing workers' compensation claims primarily for indemnity cases, the remote Lost Time Adjuster will investigate claim compensability, assess exposure, and ensure proper resolution while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation claims across Midwest states including Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Kentucky
• Investigate claim compensability and set appropriate reserves for medical and indemnity benefits
• Provide timely updates and resolutions to agents, policyholders, and business partners

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a lost time adjuster or in a similar claims management role
• Jurisdictional expertise in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Kentucky workers' compensation laws
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting or in an office environment
