Job Summary
Managing the full lifecycle of Workers' Compensation claims, the full-time remote Workers' Compensation Lost Time Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of Workers' Compensation claims, from initial investigation through resolution
- Conduct detailed investigations, including interviews and evidence gathering, to determine compensability and coverage
- Develop and execute strategic claim plans for complex and litigated files while negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience
- Active adjuster licenses as required by jurisdiction (or ability to obtain)
- Direct experience handling Workers' Compensation claims, particularly lost time claims
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and jurisdictional requirements
- Understanding of medical terminology and its impact on claim exposure
