Job Summary

Adjudicating highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims, the contract Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - AL & FL will work remotely to manage claims under limited technical direction, ensuring timely resolution and optimal financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex indemnity workers' compensation claims with significant impact on departmental results
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Negotiate settlements and prepare reports for file documentation while managing litigation and claim reserves

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in the AL jurisdiction
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong claim negotiation skills and a good understanding of insurance business acumen
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
