Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Underwriting Operations, Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage direct reports in the development and implementation of technical underwriting and product expertise
- Analyze book of business performance and trends, recommending adjustments and ensuring compliance
- Collaborate with senior management on complex accounts and lead enterprise development projects impacting pricing and coverage
Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with commercial lines products, including workers' compensation
- Three or more years of management experience preferred
- Professional insurance designations relevant to the area of expertise desired
- Core proficiency in leading underwriting or operations teams managing a profitable book of business
