Job Summary
Managing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time Senior Claims Adjuster will independently handle all aspects from set-up to closure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional customer claims experience in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage high dollar, high exposure claims, conducting thorough investigations and making compensability decisions
- Serve as a primary contact for partner agents and customers, providing claim guidance and status updates while advocating for a superior claims experience
- Control legal activities and negotiate settlements to achieve optimal claim outcomes while adhering to statutory guidelines
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation claim adjusting experience, preferably with a carrier background
- Active licensing in applicable states is required
- Advanced knowledge of jurisdictional regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as CMS/MSA requirements
- Experience with G-Suite Tools and collaboration tools like Slack is preferred
