Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing catastrophic and large loss claims, the full-time Complex Claims Adjuster for Workers Compensation will provide hands-on adjudication, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance claims processes, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle all aspects of catastrophic and large loss workers' compensation claims from set-up to closure
• Serve as a point of contact for partner agents and customers, providing claim guidance and status updates
• Direct proactive litigation strategies to increase settlement opportunities and represent the company in mediations and trials

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of workers' compensation claim adjusting experience required, with 2+ years in catastrophic claim handling
• Active licensing in applicable states is required
• Advanced knowledge of jurisdictional regulatory and statutory requirements and CMS/MSA requirements
• Experience using G-Suite Tools and collaboration tools like Slack is preferred
