Job Summary
Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster will adjudicate complex customer claims, ensuring timely resolution while working remotely and managing a dedicated client with capped caseloads.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and process claims through action plans
- Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority and communicate claim activity to claimants and clients
- Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction professionally and promptly
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-4 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of CT and DE jurisdictions required; PA, NJ, and MA preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Licensing as required for the role
