Job Summary
Managing lost time and medical-only Workers' Compensation claims, the full-time remote Lost Time Claims Adjuster will evaluate claims, determine compensability, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with claims
- Conduct interviews and gather facts to make informed decisions regarding claim outcomes
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return to work and manage claims costs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required
- Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Experience in workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures
