Job Summary
To support a temporary assignment, the full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster will adjudicate workers' compensation indemnity claims in multiple states while working remotely from New Mexico, with potential for temp-to-hire if licensed in Arizona.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims with a focus on timely resolution and financial outcomes
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
- Prepare reports and communicate trends and developments to senior management and underwriters
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims, specifically in Colorado and New Mexico
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience with insurance designations
- Licenses preferred in Alabama, Arizona, and Florida
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen related to insurance operations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills
