Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing all aspects of workers' compensation claims, the full-time remote Senior Claims Adjuster will evaluate complex claims, ensure compliance with regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service while working with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle high dollar, high exposure, and complex workers' compensation claims from set-up to closure
• Serve as a point of contact for partner agents and customers, providing claim guidance and status updates
• Mitigate exposure and negotiate settlements while ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines and best practices

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation claim adjusting experience, preferably with a carrier background
• Active licensing in applicable states is required
• Experience in claims across multiple jurisdictions, particularly FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, and AL
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements related to claims adjudication and litigation management
