Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of loss time workers' compensation claims, the full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster will determine compensability, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with claimants and legal personnel in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Determine compensability and coverage issues for loss time workers' compensation claims
• Negotiate and direct settlements under management's review
• Gather medical and factual evidence to support claims and manage litigation files

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in handling workers' compensation claims
• Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions, including PA, MA, VA, ME, and MD
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Carrier experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Experience in handling lost time or litigated claims
