Job Summary

Handling complex indemnity claims remotely, the contract Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster will adjudicate higher-complexity claims for customers in AR, CO, LA, or OK while reporting on claims trends and managing litigation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims under limited technical direction
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Negotiate settlements and prepare reports for file documentation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in the AR jurisdiction
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Advanced knowledge of workers' compensation claims and strong claim negotiation skills
• Good business acumen with an understanding of insurance profitability
• AR, CO, LA, or OK license required at the start of the assignment
