Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and gather information to determine compensability of claims
• Secure and file necessary documents with the NYS Workers' Compensation Board
• Negotiate settlements and control the claim process from investigation to settlement

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in adjusting New York State workers' compensation claims
• New York State License is required or obtained within 6 months of employment
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
