Job Summary

Key responsibilities

• Adjusts medical-only and minor lost-time claims under supervision while processing claims to determine compensability and benefits due
• Supports claims representatives and examiners with larger claims and ensures proper documentation and coding of claim files
• Communicates with claimants, clients, and medical contacts regarding claim actions and processes routine payments as necessary

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Clerical or customer service experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Motivated and customer-oriented with a collaborative work ethic
