Workers' Compensation Claims Consultant

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time Claims Consultant will manage high-exposure cases, conduct audits, and mentor claims professionals while working remotely across various states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight on complex claims, ensuring effective investigations and management
• Conduct monthly Plan of Action meetings and claim reviews for high-exposure cases, guiding critical management decisions
• Deliver coaching and mentoring to claims professionals while supporting the development of training programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible claims experience, particularly in workers' compensation and commercial liability
• Extensive experience managing complex litigation and high-exposure claims strongly preferred
• AIC, SCLA, and CSRP designations preferred
• Claims Adjusting License preferred
