Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Workers' Compensation Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise claims management activities and ensure proper onboarding of new policyholders
• Evaluate and assign claims to adjusters, and provide guidance on complications related to claims
• Consult with medical, legal, and vocational professionals to assist in achieving appropriate claim outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Five years of insurance experience with a private carrier or related field required
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an adjuster's license in applicable states
• Preference for candidates with managerial experience or multiple state insurance experience
• Ability to motivate team members and effectively manage time without direct supervision
