Job Summary
Managing a team of Major Loss claim adjusters, the full-time hybrid Workers Compensation Claims Director will oversee complex claims, ensure compliance with policies, and foster team development while working from the Alpharetta, Maitland, Boca Raton, or Dallas offices.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 4-8 Major Loss claim adjusters handling complex workers compensation claims
- Ensure quality and compliance of work performed by the team, including accuracy and timeliness
- Lead the development and training of staff to support organizational succession planning
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in Workers Compensation claim handling
- Experience managing claims specific to Pennsylvania and New Jersey jurisdictions preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Department of Insurance (DOI), NCCI, ICA rules and regulations
- Preferred educational background includes a BS/BA degree or relevant industry designations like CPCU or AIC
