Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner III (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 150 or fewer workers' compensation files, including complex claims
• Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits based on state law and company guidelines
• Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues and settle claims as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) and three or more years of related experience
• Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
• Ability to independently manage very complex claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
• Experience in conducting file reviews independently
