Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Comp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process complex workers compensation claims to determine benefits due and manage claims towards timely resolution
  • Monitor reserve adequacy and ensure accuracy in benefits due and payment calculations
  • Prepare necessary state filings and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management
Required Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Four (4) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Licenses as required and professional certification as applicable to line-of-business preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, laws, and cost containment principles
  • PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
